Lilly was rescued from Scone where she was found chained to a cement slab 9x5. She thought she had arrived at a forever home but the new owner kept going away and found that due to work commitments could not look after her properly so she was surrendered to HappyPaws Haven. Lilly is a submissive sensitive beautiful girl is a wonderful family dog. She is gentle with people and happy playing with other dogs. She is training at Grafton Dog Obedience Club.

My name is Lilly I am a beautiful Labrador/Kelpie X around 18months old with a loving nature.  I am very lucky to have come to this great place called Happy Paws Haven from the horrible previous home where I was tied up and living in my own toilet. I have now put on weight (not too much) and desperately  searching for a loving home where I can protect, love, fetch balls, and go for walks  to my hearts content with my new family. I am learning Dog Obedience at the present time and have my basic manners and obedience certificates, so I am not doing too badly in some areas such as healing, bending etc. I don't think that I will ever excel in jumping and agility but I am trying, the treats given are worth it. I love to play ball every day and often catch it before anyone else at my carers. I don’t mind splashing in water either but have not been given the opportunity to swim yet so I am not sure whether I will like it or not. I love people so much now I sometimes get over excited to see my special human  friends.  I don't think that I have left anything out about myself, after all there is always room for improvement and I am a great person pleaser.
