Buddy - Red heeler cross' Description.
Buddy is a young red heeler cross bull terrier with a lovable personality. He was surrendered by his owner at just over 3 months old because he was a shift worker who worked all night and slept most of the day so could not spend much time with this young pup. When he was out or a sleep he kept buddy chained up under the house with no one to play with. The owner soon realised this was no life for this lovely playful boy. Buddy came to Happy Paws Haven to find a suitable family to call his own nearly a year ago.
Here is his story:
Attention to everyone my name is Buddy. And that is what I am, your buddy.
Â
As you can see by my photos I am a bull terrier cross red healer although my looks don’t appeal to everyone! Â (it’s what inside that counts) I have a great temperament and very faithful also a good watchdog, behave myself inside, love to be with a family and will follow you around like a shadow. I am extremely excitable and I will give you a bath with my tongue if you let me, and if you hear a thumping noise it is my tail hitting the wall. Fetching the ball, going for car trips, and long walks and lying beside you are also favorites of mine.
Â
I have completed my basic agility, have started intermediate agility. I love going through tunnels but am not sure about the jumps. I have also completed basic manners and basic obedience, am now doing intermediate obedience. Not bad for someone my age!
Â
It is my turn to find a home so please give sally a call now!! You won’t regret it
Signed: Buddy.

And my foster mum who typed this out for me, she can’t understand why nobody has enquired about me yet?
Buddy is very much people dog so should not be left for hours on end without anyone to be with either dog or human or he will just get into mischief. He is fine if he has another dog or children to play with. He has a great temperament, very faithful, loyal, a good watch dog, behaves well in side, is house trained, needs to be close to family but can knock things flying if over excited.
He is a young dog, a teenager, so can get excited and jump up, I am in the process of teaching him not to do so. Like all young dogs and children: the rules and boundaries need to be set and kept, because if they are not they get confused about what they are allowed to do and not do and will try anything taking advantage of the situation at hand. Buddy is a very loving and highly intelligent young dog. He is extremely affectionate and good natured towards other dogs and puppies.
For a teenager, he is quite well behaved and obedient but full of lots of energy. He needs to be walked at least once a day and to get regular exercise. He loves playing tug-of-war, fetching the ball, going fpr car trips/rides, long walls and/or a good swim although he has never been to the beach. He is de-sexed, micro-chipped and immunised, regularly wormed and de-flead. He loves people and being around them. He is looking for a wonderful home where his owner would love him forever, take him to training, exercise every day and have someone or another dog like him to play with and a fully fenced back yard. he just wants to please and just wants to be with you. He is house trained and is very quick to learn. He needs someone who will spend time with him.
